Chicago, IL – The 35th Annual Taste of Greektown lit up Halsted Street once again on Friday, August 22 through Sunday, August 24, 2025, with thousands of visitors gathering to enjoy Chicago’s largest celebration of Hellenic cuisine and culture. The three-day festival transformed Greektown into a lively hub of food, music, and community spirit, a beloved summer tradition for Greek Americans and Philhellenes alike.
A Feast for the Senses
Festivalgoers savored an endless array of authentic Greek flavors, from sizzling gyros and souvlaki to spanakopita, baklava, and loukoumades. Greektown’s iconic restaurants, including Zeus, Mr. Greek, and Athena, kept lines busy as they served up their signature dishes. Live music, traditional Greek dancing, and cultural demonstrations brought a piece of Greece to downtown Chicago, creating a true immersive experience.
Grecian Delight | Kronos Brings the Energy

The 101.9 THE MIX Street Team and Grecian Delight | Kronos team handed out branded “I Love Gyros” t-shirts, hats, and koozies, a hit with attendees and a perfect keepsake from the weekend.
