8 oz Pizza Dough
12 oz Calzone Filling*
1 Tbs Egg Wash
4 oz Gyros Slices, Chopped
1/4 cup Black Angus Ground Beef, Crumbled
1/4 cup Sautéed Mushrooms, Sliced
1/4 cup Caramelized Onions
1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
1/4 cup & 1 Tbs Creamy Steakhouse Sauce*
1/4 cup Kronos White Satin
1 Tbs Steak Sauce
Roll out the pizza dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Add the filling to one side of the round making sure to leave enough room to fold over the dough to seal. Using a pastry brush, add some egg wash around the filling. Fold over the dough and make a fluted edge forming the calzone in a half circle shape. Brush the entire calzone with the egg wash. Bake at 350˚ F for 15-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown and crispy.
In a saute pan cook the onions until caramelized. Add the mushrooms and cook until the mixture is sauteed. Add them to a mixing bowl to cool. Once cooled add the cooked ground beef and chooped KronosBROIL. Then fold in the creamy steakhouse sauce. Then fold in the mozarella cheese and mix well to bring the filling together. Set aside for calzone assembly.
Mix ingredients together until smooth.
