The Classic Gyro Sandwich



  1. Brush pitas lightly with oil on both sides and heat on a large non-stick skillet until soft and slightly browned (set aside)\
  2. Heat the large non-stick skillet to high, add the ReadyCarved Gyro Slices and stir frequently for 2 minutes (or temp reaches 165 degrees)
  3. Lay pitas flat with bubbles facing up.
  4. Add a good portion of gyro meat (about 4 oz.) down the middle of the pita bread.
  5. Add 2-3 slices each of tomato and onion and two tablespoons of Tzatziki sauce.
